Simpson Construction Services joins USD 375's Bond Project Team

Circle Unified School District 375 has selected Simpson Construction Services to serve as Construction Manager on their new $37 million bond project. Simpson joins a strong team that includes the School District, Kansas City architect DLR Group and local architect PKHLS.

The project, now in the planning phase, includes a New Circle High School, as well as expansion and renovations to Circle Oil Hill Elementary. (The High School’s existing performing art, auxiliary gymnasium and a large portion of the existing parking lots will be maintained.)

Those familiar with the District’s schools may recall that Simpson Construction Services built Circle Towanda Primary, the current High School’s auditorium addition and classroom additions to Circle Oil Hill Elementary.

Michael Janzen, Circle’s Assistant Superintendent, explains that the Construction Management format is new for the District and that they look forward to collaborating with experienced architects and construction manager. Of Simpson as the newest team member, Mr. Janzen says, “The District is excited to work with a local company with a good track record that has provided great value to the District in the past.”
